Mario Yepes signs AC Milan extension

Mario Yepes has signed a one-year contract extension with AC Milan.

The Colombian defender, whose previous deal expired at the end of the season, will now be at the San Siro until 2013.

The 36-year-old joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer in 2010.

Veterans Alessandro Nesta, Filippo Inzaghi and Gennaro Gattuso all recently announced that they would be leaving the club at the end of the current campaign.
