Manchester City are reportedly preparing a summer move for AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The 26-year-old, who has previously played in the Premier League for Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur, has impressed for the Serie A club this season.

According to sources in Italy, the playmaker's performances in the Champions League this season caught the eye of City boss Roberto Mancini, who is preparing to overhaul his squad in the summer.

Boateng has just one year remaining on his current deal at Milan.
