Sunday's Serie A predictions including Torino vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Torino vs. AC Milan.

Genoa vs. Lazio (Sunday, 11.30am)

Lazio will square off against Genoa on Sunday afternoon looking for a victory which will strengthen their hold of a top-six place in the Serie A standings.

At a time when the visitors are pushing for European qualification, Genoa are three points adrift of safety after their previous unbeaten run was ended earlier this week.

We say: Genoa 1-2 Lazio

Given how Genoa have performed in recent weeks, they will fancy their chances of earning at least a share of the spoils against an inconsistent Lazio outfit. Nevertheless, we still expect the visitors to come through this contest, potentially by the odd goal in three in a competitive encounter.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Napoli vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Still in contention for their first Scudetto since 1990, Napoli face one of their toughest remaining tests on Sunday, as they welcome Fiorentina to Stadio Maradona.

Three wins on the spin have helped the Partenopei pull within a point of the Serie A summit, while their latest visitors also claimed victory last weekend - edging out Empoli in a Tuscan derby.

We say: Napoli 1-0 Fiorentina

In this meeting between the two teams with the highest average possession of the Serie A season - Napoli with 59% and Fiorentina on 57% - the fight for midfield supremacy could be integral to either side's success.

If they can win that tussle, the hosts are best placed to claim all three points from a close-fought affair, as their greater individual ability in attack can make the difference once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Sassuolo vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After a hard-earned draw in Europe during midweek, Atalanta BC return to Serie A duty in desperate need of points to revive their top four aspirations, as they meet Sassuolo on Sunday.

The Bergamaschi held RB Leipzig in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie, but following last week's loss at Napoli they sit seventh in the standings - just three places above their hosts.

We say: Sassuolo 2-2 Atalanta BC

Neither side has proved themselves secure defensively over recent weeks, and their respective strengths certainly lie in attack - so it could be an open affair.

While Sassuolo have benefited from a whole week to prepare, it has been another quick turnaround for Atalanta, who may ultimately be grateful to leave the Mapei Stadium with a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Venezia vs. Udinese (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Relegation-threatened Venezia head into Sunday's fixture with Udinese looking to end a five-match losing streak in Serie A.

While the home side currently sit three points adrift of safety, Udinese's recent improvements have led to them occupying 13th position in the standings.

We say: Venezia 1-2 Udinese

Holding home advantage, we cannot write off Venezia as they battle for survival. However, their form suggests that confidence is low within the camp, and that is something which Udinese should take advantage of given their own form and being on the brink of securing their top-flight status for another year with games to spare.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Roma vs. Salernitana (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Despite midweek defeat in Europe, Roma return to Serie A duty on the trail of a top four finish, as they host rock-bottom Salernitana on Sunday.

The teams convene at Stadio Olimpico, after defeat to their Norwegian nemesis ended the Giallorossi's nine-match unbeaten run, while the away side arrive in the capital nine points adrift of safety and surely Serie B-bound.

We say: Roma 2-0 Salernitana

Roma will expect to add another shut-out to their growing total, as they welcome a side with little cutting edge in attack.

Should they preserve their clean sheet, the Giallorossi are bound to strike at some stage given Salernitana's brittle back three, and they now possess the discipline to see out the game.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Torino vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After a disappointing draw earlier this week, Serie A leaders AC Milan aim to take a step closer to their first Scudetto for a decade when they visit Torino on Sunday evening.

Ending a three-match winning streak, the Rossoneri were held goalless by Bologna on Monday night, so will be keen to complete the double over their mid-table opponents following October's win at San Siro.

We say: Torino 1-1 AC Milan

Neither side has been fluent in the final third for several weeks now, and it could be an attritional affair for the most part, based on recent form.

Torino can, therefore, frustrate their more illustrious visitors and claim a point, which will do little to aid their cause but may have profound implications in the title race.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
