Preview: AC Milan vs. Inter Milan

AC Milan can potentially move as high as sixth place in Serie A with a win over city rivals Inter Milan on Sunday evening.

The Rossoneri have endured a poor domestic campaign in Italy, which has resulted in the club struggling to qualify for Europe next season.

However, four victories from their last five fixtures have seen Milan move up to 10th in the league table, although they did fall to a 2-0 defeat to Roma last Friday.

Inter have missed out on qualifying for next season's Champions League, but head coach Walter Mazzarri will be aware that they still have work to do to ensure that they feature in the Europa League.

The Nerazzurri currently sit in fifth position, and four points from their final three games will be enough to see them finish in the top five.

Inter have suffered just one defeat in their last 13 league games, but six of those encounters ended as a draw.
