Alexandre Pato shares on Instagram that he is aiming to make a first-team return for AC Milan after the October international break.

AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has revealed that he is aiming to make a first-team return after the international break in mid-October.

The Brazilian striker has been plagued by a series of injuries over the past two years, and is yet to feature this season for Milan due to a muscular problem.

Pato took to Instagram to share a positive post with Milan fans, saying: "I am ready! I just finished training and will be back after the break for international duty!"

The 23-year-old has returned to full training but will definitely miss Milan's trip to Zenit St. Petersburg in the Champions League plus next weekend's derby against Inter.
