Ibrahimovic claims UEFA conspiracy

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that the Italians were 'cheated' out of a place in the Champions League semi-finals.

Milan were defeated 3-1 by Barcelona on Tuesday, with referee Bjorn Kiupers awarding two penalties to the Spanish side.

However, Ibrahimovic has insisted that he should have been given a penalty himself, and admitted that he now understands how Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho feels when he takes his side to the Nou Camp.

"How can he give a penalty like that? If he gave that penalty, he should have given my penalty," the Swede told Mediaset.

"The game is not about the man in green. It's a shame. I couldn't believe he called a penalty when the ball wasn't in play.

"It seems like UEFA wants a certain two teams in the Champions League final. Now I understand how Mourinho feels every time he comes to Camp Nou."

Barcelona will play either Chelsea or Benfica in the semi-finals.
