Aberdeen midfielder Nicky Low agrees Dundee switch

Aberdeen midfielder Nicky Low has agreed to join Dundee on a three-year deal at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has made just 11 appearances for the Dons this term due to a persistent groin injury.

The move will see Low reunited with Dundee boss Paul Hartley, whom he played under while on loan at Alloa Athletic during the 2012-13 campaign.

"The option to sign an extended contract with a fellow Premiership club was one which Nicky felt he couldn't turn down. He's at an important stage in his career. I'd like to thank him for his efforts during my time with the club," Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Low signed his first professional contract with Aberdeen in 2010 following a spell in the club's academy.
