Pakistan set imposing 327-run victory target for Sri Lanka

Pakistan, inspired by Mohammad Hafeez's unbeaten 140 runs, set Sri Lanka an imposing 327 victory target to win the third ODI in Sharjah.

Mohammad Hafeez blasted an unbeaten 140 as Pakistan set Sri Lanka a victory target of 327 runs to win the third one-day international in Sharjah this afternoon.

The number three hit 11 fours and three sixes on his way to the big total, which came off just 136 balls.

Pakistan lost opener Sharjeel Khan with the last ball of the third over as Nuwan Kulasekara's near-perfect delivery clipped the top of off-stump.

It wasn't until the 31st over when the next wicket fell as Ahmed Shahzad (81) was run out by Lasith Malinga.

Misbah-ul-Haq and Umar Akmal smashed a quickfire 40 and 23 respectively in entertaining fashion alongside Hafeez.
