Boris Diaw confirms San Antonio Spurs stay

Boris Diaw announces that he has signed a new deal with the San Antonio Spurs, extending his two-year career with the club.

Free agent Boris Diaw has announced that he is staying with the San Antonio Spurs after reportedly agreeing a three-year deal.

The 32-year-old has been with the Spurs since 2012 and has extended his stay in a $22m (£12.8m) deal after being part of the team that won the NBA Championship.

Diaw scored 31 points for the Spurs in the NBA finals in their 4-1 series win over the Miami Heat.
