Anthony: 'I like what Jackson is doing'

New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony has admitted that he 'likes what president Phil Jackson is doing' following a meeting between the pair and coach Derek Fisher.

The Knicks are hoping to talk Anthony into a new contract, though it appears that the player is likely to decide to become a free agent, allowing him to see what other teams have to offer.

"It was great meeting with Phil, it went well. I like what Phil is doing," Anthony told reporters following the meeting.

A number of teams are waiting on Anthony's decision, with the likes of the Houston Rockets looking to add to their roster of leading NBA performers.
