Holiday undergoes stress fracture surgery

Jrue Holiday has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a stress fracture.

The New Orleans Pelicans point guard has missed almost two months since being diagnosed with the injury in his right tibia.

Holiday joined the Pelicans in the summer as part of a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.

In the 34 games that he played in this season, the 23-year-old has averaged 14.3 points.
