LeBron James: 'We lost to the better team'

Miami Heat power forward LeBron James admits that his side lost to the better side in the NBA Finals as the San Antonio Spurs claimed their fifth NBA Championship.

Miami Heat power forward LeBron James has admitted that his side lost to the better team in the NBA Finals.

The San Antonio Spurs claimed their fifth NBA Championship as they defeated the Heat 104-87 in game five of the series to seal a 4-1 victory in the Finals.

James told ESPN: "We had a great first quarter, but from that point on they were the better team, and that's why they're the champions in 2014."

James scored a game-high 31 points in match five of the series at the AT&T Center.
