LeBron James: 'Rashard Lewis has been huge for us'

Miami Heat power forward LeBron James believes that the form of teammate Rashard Lewis has been huge for the club in the post-season.

LeBron James has expressed his belief that forward Rashard Lewis has been crucial in the Miami Heat's playoff games.

The 34-year-old forced his way into Erik Spoelstra's side against the Indiana Pacers in the post-season and has been a part of the starting lineup since.

Lewis notched 14 points in the Heat's win over the San Antonio Spurs in game two of the NBA Finals to level the series at 1-1.

"Rashard has been huge for us ever since he's been inserted into our starting lineup, from the Indiana series," James told reporters. "He's been in this position before. He's been to the Finals with the Orlando Magic.

"He's been in huge playoff games, and his experience and ability to knock down shots helps us out a lot. It spreads the floor for us, and every time he catches the ball, we tell him just to shoot it. Don't think about nothing else besides shooting the ball, and we live with his results."

Game three of the NBA Finals takes place on Tuesday.
