LeBron James, Blake Griffin named players of the month

The NBA has named LeBron James and Blake Griffin as the league's players of the month for February.

The Miami Heat forward wins the award for the Eastern Conference, having averaged 30.8 points per game last month.

Griffin posted similar figures for the Los Angeles Clippers in February, averaging 30 points per game to earn the Western Conference award.

The Orlando Magic's Victor Oladipo and Nick Calathes of the Memphis Grizzlies were named rookies of the month.
