Miami Heat confirm Michael Beasley signing

Miami Heat have announced that they have re-signed forward Michael Beasley, who previously spent two seasons with the team.

The 24-year-old had been a free agent following his release from the Phoenix Suns last week.

Club president Pat Riley said in a brief statement: "Michael had the best years of his career with us. We feel that he can help us."

Beasley left Miami in 2010 in a trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
