Dallas Cowboys supporters boo LeBron James

Dallas Cowboys supporters jeered LeBron James prior to the team's victory over the New York Giants on Sunday.

The Miami Heat's James, a supporter of the Cowboys, entered the field at the AT&T Stadium for the pre-game preparations and was greeted with boos by large numbers of the sell-out crowd.

James has been involved in a number of controversies in the past with Dallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki, with the rivalry coming to the public's attention during the 2011 NBA finals.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones invited James to the game as his guest.
