Kobe Bryant has claimed that the Los Angeles Lakers should not be underestimated as they prepare to take on the undefeated Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

Golden State are looking to become the first team to start a season 16-0 by beating the Lakers, and the defending champions head into the game as firm favourites to make history against a side which has won just two of their 13 games.

However, Bryant believes that the Lakers can produce their best display of the campaign to record a shock win.

"I've seen stranger things happen," Bryant told ESPN "We've been playing like shit. We might go up there and we might play like gangbusters up there. You never know."

The Lakers head into the meeting at the Oracle Arena on a three-game losing streak.
