Pau Gasol to miss two weeks

The Los Angeles Lakers have said that Pau Gasol will miss the next two weeks while continuing his recovery from a groin strain.

The forward had been expected to be sidelined for just a week after sustaining the injury, but needed a PRP injection on Monday, which will keep him off the court for a fortnight.

The 33-year-old will be re-evaluated during the All-Star game break later this month.

The Spaniard has recently been linked with a trade move to the Phoenix Suns.
