The Los Angeles Lakers have confirmed that Pau Gasol will miss at least the next week with a groin strain.
The Spaniard underwent an MRI scan after picking up the injury in the team's defeat to the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday.
It rules the 33-year-old out of the Lakers' next three games.
Gasol has averaged 17 points per match this season.
