Los Angeles Clippers website declares "we are one"

The Los Angeles Clippers change the front page on their website to a black background with the phrase "we are one" following owner Donald Sterling's lifetime ban.

The Los Angeles Clippers have changed the homepage on their website following owner Donald Sterling's lifetime ban from the NBA.

After the 80-year-old was banned and fined for making racist comments, the franchise displayed the slogan "we are one" on a black background alongside their logo.

A number of other NBA franchises followed, with the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz also posting the slogan, while fans chanted the phrase at last night's playoff game between the Clippers and the Golden State Warriors.

The team's players have said that they support the league's decision to ban Sterling.
