Kevin McHale: 'Houston Rockets couldn't handle Dallas Mavericks'

Kevin McHale has said that the Houston Rockets could not get a handle on the Dallas Mavericks last night.

The Rockets led early on, but Monta Ellis and Dirk Nowitzki combined for 72 points to give the home side their third straight win.

The Rockets coach told reporters: "We never could get a handle on them. All game long they were scoring. We were scoring too. We had a lead in the fourth quarter again.

"We just couldn't get them stopped the whole game. Dirk and Ellis got what they wanted."

The Rockets face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.
