Dwight Howard: "I didn't lose focus"

Dwight Howard has said that he did not "lose focus" despite making a slow start against the San Antonio Spurs.

The center finished the game with 23 points, helping the Rockets to a 97-90 win.

The 28-year-old told reporters: "I know I missed a lot of shots early. I didn't lose focus. I got a little frustrated because I wanted to make those shots, especially against Tim [Duncan]. But I just tried to stick with it and show the team that no matter what I'm going to battle."

The Rockets travel to the Dallas Mavericks later today.
