Curry: 'Confidence key for Warriors'

Stephen Curry has said that he tries to "always stay confident" when shooting for the Golden State Warriors.

The point guard made 11 of his 18 shots to score 40 points in the team's 114-97 win over the Miami Heat, leaving them on a six-game winning streak.

The 26-year-old told reporters: "You just feel a rhythm. I had guys set some great screens early to kind of get me going. You start finding shots and it feels good. Even the ones I missed terribly felt good, which is pretty funny.

"You always stay confident, stay ready. You win games all sorts of ways with different individual performances. How we shot last game had nothing to do with this game. If we execute our offense well, you're going to get good shots."

Curry had scored just eight from 24 in his previous two games.
