Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Tuesday evening's games in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors made it six wins in a row in the NBA as Stephen Curry scored 40 points against the Miami Heat.

Curry made 11 of his 18 shots to lead the Warriors back from a first-quarter deficit to a comfortable win, while Klay Thompson provided support with 24 points.

The Chicago Bulls suffered their sixth defeat of the season, slipping to a loss to the in-form Denver Nuggets, who have won their last five.

The visitors lost Derrick Rose to a hamstring injury inside the first quarter, leaving Jimmy Butler to carry the load for Chicago with 32 points.

It was not enough for the Bulls though, as Ty Lawson added a jump shot in the final seconds to make sure that the Nuggets kept themselves ahead.

The Atlanta Hawks won their sixth game in eight outings with a narrow victory over Southeast Division rivals the Washington Wizards.

The lead changed hands throughout the game, but the visitors got into a rhythm in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Wizards, with Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack leading them on a 16-point unanswered run in the final spell.

The Milwaukee Bucks dominated the start of the second half to clinch a victory over the Detroit Pistons.

Andre Drummond helped the visitors pull ahead in the first quarter, but Brandon Knight came out firing in the third, which saw the Bucks outscore their opponents 30-19.

The Sacramento Kings beat the New Orleans Pelicans for the second time this season, securing their third win in a row.

The Kings jumped to a big lead early on, but had to play the majority of the game without their coach after Michael Malone was ejected in the second quarter for arguing with the officials.

DeMarcus Cousins ensured that the visitors kept their cool though, finishing the game with 22 points and 12 rebounds as the Pelicans struggled to reduce the deficit.
