John Wall notched 29 of his team's points as the Washington Wizards overcame the Detroit Pistons 106-99 at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Monday.
Wall was on form as the visitors notched their second straight victory against the Pistons in three nights, spelling the end of a seven-game losing streak against the hosts.
Forward Trevor Ariza was also in outstanding form for Washington, collecting 15 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and six steals to help reduce a second-half deficit and edge the Wizards past their opponents.
The result sees Washington sitting in third position in the South-East Division, with a record of 14-14.
