Josh Smith "feels great" about choosing Detroit Pistons

Former Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith has insisted he "feels great" about choosing the Detroit Pistons during the off-season.

The 27-year-old's future was a topic of great discussion this past summer, but he eventually opted for a move to Detroit and is pleased with his decision.

"I feel great about my choice," Smith said on Wednesday, according to NBA.com.

"Our team, our roster, is very impressive to me. We have a lot of hard workers who've been in here, getting it in, getting to know each other. I'm real excited," he added.

The Pistons endured a disappointing season last year, but along with the arrival of Brandon Jennings they will hope that Smith can bring success to the franchise.
