Steve Clifford: 'Charlotte Bobcats are improving'

Charlotte Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford believes that the team is improving as the pre-season progresses.

Steve Clifford has said that the Charlotte Bobcats showed improvement during their 92-74 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Bobcats lost their first two games of the pre-season, but have recorded back-to-back wins during the last week.

The head coach told reporters: "We're trying to establish balanced play. They are great to play against because they are disciplined defensively, so if you don't do good things you can't get good shots.

"Early in the game we couldn't do it at all. I like that our offense got better as the game went on and we're trying hard on defense.

"We have a long way to go but we're getting better and our effort is good. To me, for pre-season game number four, you have to be happy with it."

Charlotte play the Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow.
