Paul Pierce: 'Brooklyn Nets changed attitude'

Paul Pierce believes that the Brooklyn Nets have changed their attitude following their recent run of poor form.

Paul Pierce has claimed that the Brooklyn Nets changed their attitude ahead of the victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.

The Nets had lost five games in a row before the 102-100 win but Pierce believes that the recent run of poor form has improved the team spirit in Brooklyn.

"The difference was in our attitude," the 15-year NBA veteran told reporters. "There was an attitude adjustment among the players. We're just tired of getting pushed around.

"This team has a lot of pride, a no-give-up type attitude and guys were really feeling it. Some locker rooms break apart when you go on losing streaks, but I think it's bringing us closer together."

Brooklyn face the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.
