Backs coach Shane Howarth leaves Worcester Warriors

Worcester Warriors backs coach Shane Howarth exits the club by mutual consent.

Worcester Warriors have confirmed that backs coach Shane Howarth has left the club by mutual consent.

The 46-year-old former full-back joined the Warriors in 2013 following a spell with Wasps.

Howarth was one of director of rugby Dean Ryan's first coaching appointments at Sixways Stadium.

"We would like to thank Shane for his contribution in developing our back play during these transitional years," Ryan told the club's official website. "He has played an integral part of what we are building here at Worcester."

Howarth represented both New Zealand and Wales at international level.
