Leicester ease to a win over London Irish to go second in the Aviva Premiership.

Leicester Tigers recorded an easy win over London Irish in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.

Leicester were the stronger side in the opening half, a Niall Morris try and a penalty try putting the visitors comfortably ahead.

London Irish got back into the game after the break after Ben Youngs was sin-binned for a tackle on Darren Allinson, reducing the Tigers to 14 men.

The Exiles forced two penalties to reduce Leicester's lead but rarely looked like scoring a try.

The home side crumbled towards the end of the match, allowing a second Morris try and conceding another penalty try, while Jamie Gibson was shown a yellow card.

The win means Leicester climb up to second in the table, while London Irish remain 11th.
