Harry Redknapp says that Tottenham Hotspur will be challenging for the title in a few years' time.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has said that it makes no difference who his team takes points off ahead of today's game against Tottenham Hotspur.

The 65-year-old is now battling to save the West London club from the drop just over six months on from leading Tottenham Hotpsur to a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League.

Redknapp believes that Spurs are building towards a title challenge within the next few years, but said that his focus is now fixed on taking three points this afternoon.

"We hope we can make it a hat-trick of derby wins, but it will be tough," Redknapp told the club's official website. "It will be a difficult job stopping some of their top players.

"Spurs are a top side - a side I believe can win the league in a few years. I said that when I was there and I haven't changed my opinion since.

"But it won't make any difference to me if it's three points against Spurs, or three points against anyone else."

The Hoops are currently bottom of the league.
