Ruben Rochina scores late winner for Real Zaragoza

Ruben Rochina comes off the bench to strike a late winner as Real Zaragoza beat Mallorca 3-2 in La Liga.

Real Zaragoza have defeated Real Mallorca 3-2 in La Liga thanks to a late goal from substitute Ruben Rochina.

Mallorca took the lead in the 11th minute when Tomer Hemed lost his marker to head in a corner from Giovani dos Santos.

The hosts responded well to the goal and managed to level the scores in the 28th minute thanks to a well-placed low effort from Francisco Montanes.

Alejandro Alfaro should have restored Mallorca's lead just before the break but his weak effort was easily saved by Roberto Gago.

Zaragoza edged ahead on the hour mark when Helder Postiga found space in the box to head into the bottom corner from close range.

Javier Arizmendi looked like he may have salvaged a draw for the visitors with a smart finish from a tight angle with seven minutes of normal time remaining.

However, Rochina curled the ball into the bottom corner in the 88th minute to secure all three points for Zaragoza.
