Rayo Vallecano ease relegation worries by cruising past Celta Vigo

Rayo Vallecano ease their La Liga relegation worries by beating Celta Vigo 3-0.

An Alberto Beuno brace has helped Rayo Vallecano comfortably see off Celta Vigo to ease their relegation worries in La Liga.

The hosts took the lead with 26 minutes played courtesy of Ruben Rochina, who latched onto an inch-perfect cross into the box before striking the ball into the back of the net.

The second came shortly after the restart, when Beuno controlled a pass on the edge of the box and produced a low drive that beat Yoel.

It soon got even better for Los Franjirrojos on the hour mark when as Bueno slammed home a third of the night after meeting a well-placed pass.

Ravzan Rat was shown a straight red for Rayo four minutes later following a dangerous tackle, but Celta were unable to capitalise and Paco Jemez's men seen the game out comfortably to draw level on points with their opponents in the league table.
