Nice's David Ospina sidelined for six weeks with knee injury

Nice will be without their first-choice goalkeeper David Ospina for up to six weeks with knee ligament damage.

Nice goalkeeper David Ospina has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks with a knee injury.

The 25-year-old Colombia international suffered the injury during his side's 2-1 home defeat to Bordeaux in Ligue 1 on Sunday and was stretched off the pitch.

The French club's coach Claude Puel has revealed that Ospina has suffered a partially ruptured internal lateral ligament in his right knee that will keep him on the sidelines for between four and six weeks.

With Nice's second-choice goalkeeper Mouez Hassen also recovering from injury, Luca Veronese is likely to start in goal for their clash against Paris Saint-Germain away from home on Saturday.
