Manchester United reportedly dismiss claims that manager David Moyes called Everton fans a "f****** disgrace".

Manchester United have reportedly dismissed claims that manager David Moyes labelled Everton supporters a "disgrace" following the Toffees' victory at Old Trafford.

A Twitter user stated on the social networking website that he spoke with the Scotsman at the Lowry hotel in Manchester following United's 1-0 defeat to his former club on Wednesday night.

During the encounter, it had been claimed that Moyes described the jeers he received from Everton fans during the match as a "fucking disgrace" given that he had been at Goodison Park for 11 years.

However, sources within the club have rejected reports that Moyes made these claims, according to the Daily Star.

The Twitter user's page was closed down yesterday.
