Alvaro Negredo believes that he and his Manchester City teammate Sergio Aguero have a good understanding with each other.

Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo has hailed his teammate Sergio Aguero.

The Spain international, who joined the Premier League club from Sevilla in the summer, believes that his fellow forward makes it easier for him to score goals.

"It's been good from day one and with both of us speaking Spanish, we understand each other," Sky Sports News quotes Negredo as saying.

"He's a great player, and with great players it's easy to get along. From the first moment we did well together and when we play, we understand one another."

Negredo and Aguero have scored 22 goals between them in the Premier League so far this season.
