Exit clause of Liverpool target Milot Rashica 'lasts until June 15'

Liverpool will reportedly miss out on being able to pay a release clause for Werder Bremen playmaker Milot Rashica.

Liverpool allegedly face the prospect of missing out on paying the release clause of Werder Bremen playmaker Milot Rashica.

With his club facing the possibility of relegation from the Bundesliga, Rashica is expected to be sold during the next transfer window.

Reports have suggested that Liverpool have taken an interest in the Kosovo international's release clause, which could potentially be as low as €15m (£13.11m) if Bremen do not remain in the top flight.

However, regardless of whether Bremen move out of the bottom three, Bild suggests that any interested clubs will be unable to pay a set fee.

The report says that the 23-year-old's release clause is only active until June 15, a date which is expected to pass by with the Bundesliga still to be completed.

RB Leipzig have also been credited with an interest in Rashica, who has contributed seven goals and four assists in the league this season.
