Team News: Alberto Moreno makes Liverpool debut

Left-back Alberto Moreno will make his Liverpool debut against Manchester City, who have Sergio Aguero on the bench.

Alberto Moreno will make his first appearance as a Liverpool player during this evening's trip to Manchester City.

The Spaniard, who will start the contest at left-back, has taken the place of his compatriot Javier Manquillo.

Meanwhile, the headline news surrounding the City starting lineup is the fact that Sergio Aguero has only been given a place among the substitutes, with Stevan Jovetic continuing in an attacking role.

Aguero's fellow Argentine Pablo Zabaleta has returned, though, which has resulted in Gael Clichy reverting to left-back.

Man City: Hart; Clichy, Kompany, Demichelis, Zabaleta; Fernando, Toure; Nasri, Jovetic, Silva; Dzeko

Liverpool: Mignolet; Johnson, Lovren, Skrtel, Moreno; Allen, Gerrard, Henderson; Sterling, Coutinho; Sturridge
