Juventus's Alessandro Matri pleased to score double against Cagliari

Alessandro Matri says that he is relieved to score twice for Juventus in their 3-1 win against Cagliari on Friday.

Juventus striker Alessandro Matri believes that he has regained his confidence after scoring twice against Cagliari in Serie A on Friday.

The 28-year-old found the target in the 75th minute and in injury time to help the Bianconeri win 3-1 away from home against his former club.

"I've been looking for those goals for a long time," he told Sky Sport Italia. "Morale goes down when you haven't found the net, but the team has helped me a lot.

"Cagliari are a team that will always be in my heart."

Juventus are currently nine points clear at the top of the league table.
