Houston Dynamo have defeated New England Revolution 2-0 at home in the MLS, thanks to two goals in the second half.

The opening goal at the BBVA Compass Stadium came in the 77th minute, with Brian Ching the instigator of the move.

Ching found Brad Davis with a pass down the right side of the New England penalty box, and Davis's cross was turned in by Ricardo Clark.

Cam Weaver came close to making it 2-0 to Houston just minutes later when his shot bounced off the woodwork.

The home side eventually scored their second goal of the match, and it came in the third minute of injury time.

Warren Creavalle marched down the right flank and his floated ball to the far post was volleyed home by Oscar Boniek Garcia.
