Karim Benzema bags a brace as France continue their impressive unbeaten run in their final Euro 2012 warm-up against Estonia in Le Mans.

France, England's first opponents at Euro 2012, have defeated Estonia comprehensively in their final warm-up friendly in Le Mans.

Despite the home side dominating the ball early on it was Estonia who had the first chance when Philippe Mexes slipped when trying to clear the ball. Motherwell forward Henrik Ojamaa raced in on goal but fired millimetres wide of Hugo Lloris's post.

Franck Ribery put the French in the 24th minute after cleverly exchanging passes with Benzema before drilling low into the net.

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye then hit the post before Benzema made it two after 37 minutes by collecting a loose ball and curling in off the far upright.

Just 87 seconds into the second half Ribery and Benzema again linked up, with the latter getting his second by turning home the Bayern Munich man's centre.

The visitors almost got on the scoresheet on the hour mark when Sander Puri forced Lloris into a smart save.

France played out the remainder of the affair at a leisurely pace, with Jeremy Menez coming close to getting a fourth five minutes from time.

The Paris Saint-Germain winger did make it four in stoppage time by converting a clever backheel from Olivier Giroud.

Victory for Laurent Blanc's side means they have extended their run of unbeaten games to 21. They face Roy Hodgson's England in Donetsk on Monday at 5pm BST.

The other sides in Group D, Sweden and Ukraine, were also in action this evening. Sweden defeated Serbia 2-1, while Ukraine went down 2-0 in Turkey.
