Gary Holt hails "excellent" Falkirk

Falkirk manager Gary Holt praises his players despite their 2-0 defeat to Rangers in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

Falkirk manager Gary Holt believes that his side were "excellent" against Rangers in the Scottish Cup on Saturday.

The Championship outfit went down 2-0 at home in their fourth-round clash after playing most of the second half with 10 men, following the dismissal of David McCraken.

"This cup competition has a habit of kicking you in the teeth," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"To a man, I thought we were excellent. The boys weren't too happy with their first goal, there may have been a push in the box."

Nicky Law and David Templeton scored the goals for Rangers at the Falkirk Stadium.
