Christian Stuani unsure of future

Espanyol forward Christian Stuani concedes that he could leave the Spanish club this month.

Uruguay international Christian Stuani has admitted that he could leave Espanyol before the end of the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old joined Espanyol from Reggina in 2013 and has been in decent goal-scoring form this season, netting twice in his side's 3-0 win over Almeria at the weekend.

However, with Mexican side Tigres said to be preparing a move, Stuani has conceded that he might not remain in Barcelona beyond the end of the winter window.

"In football you never know but I'm very happy here, which is something I've always said and will say again," he told reporters.

"There are rumours and Espanyol are handling the matter, so I'm aware of that. It's a decision the club must take and we'll decide what's best for my future.

"The last person to decide is the player, it's true, but so far the club has not raised the issue. I'm going through a good time in my career and I think I'm having my best season."

Stuani also reportedly has offers from Turkey and Germany.
