Half-Time Report: Celtic cruising at Dundee United

Celtic are 2-0 up against Dundee United thanks to goals from Anthony Stokes and Giorgos Samaras.

Celtic are 2-0 up at half time against Dundee United after a comfortable first 45 minutes.

Goals from Giorgos Samaras and Anthony Stokes have put the Scottish Premiership champions in control.

Celtic went ahead after just five minutes when Samaras controlled a free kick from Kris Commons and smashed the ball past the goalkeeper from the middle of the box.

United responded well but were undone again almost 20 minutes later as a similar goal was scored, assisted again by Commons but this time finished by Stokes.

The two goalscorers both had efforts well saved in the final minutes of the half but Celtic are in control at the break.
