Malky Mackay's Cardiff City are forced to settle for a 0-0 draw at home to struggling Millwall.

Cardiff City failed to take maximum points from their home fixture against struggling Millwall this afternoon.

Neither goalkeeper was called into any meaningful action during the opening 45 minutes, as the match descended into a midfield battle.

The best chance of the first half fell to the home side, but Kenny Miller was unable to direct Ben Turner's cross goalwards.

Cardiff continued to dominate after the break, but they were unable to create any clear goalscoring opportunities.

Visiting Millwall went close late in the game when James Henry curled an effort just off target.

The draw has lifted Cardiff up to seventh in the Championship table, while Millwall remain in 19th position.
