The centre-back was forced to sit out the FA Cup stalemate against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend due to a knee injury, but his availability allows Carlos Carvalhal to field the same XI that beat Burnley last time out in the league.

For the hosts, Chris Hughton makes one change from the side that drew with Stoke City two weeks ago, with Anthony Knockaert replacing the benched Solly March.

All three of the goalscorers from the Seagulls' FA Cup win over Coventry City last weekend - Leonardo Ulloa, Jurgen Locadia and Connor Goldson - start among the substitutes.
