Canada's Heather Moyse: 'Gold medal run was always possible'

Canada bobsleigh brakewoman Heather Moyse has revealed that she was always confident that she and teammate Kaillie Humphries could win the gold medal in Sochi.

The duo were trailing the United States team of Elana Meyers and Lauryn Williams going into their final run, but a solid effort down the course - along with a mistake by the Americans - secured the gold medal in the two-woman event.

The 35-year-old told reporters: "I just looked at her and I said, 'it's possible', and it's all Kaillie needed to know. The gap wasn't closed, but it was possible."

Moyse and Humphries won their second gold medal in the event, after winning in Vancouver four years ago.
