Johanna Konta has defeated Maria Sakkari in straight sets to reach the Wimbledon fourth round.
The British number one needed over three hours to edge past Donna Vekic in the last 64, but she endured no such trouble against Sakkiri as she ran out a 6-4 6-1 winner.
Konta started brightly against her 21-year-old opponent from Greece and although she could not build upon her early break, she served out the remainder of the set to move closer to new ground at SW19.
The second set started in the same fashion as Konta struck in the second game and despite Sakkiri battling on valiantly, Konta's extra power meant that she remained in control and she was able to seal victory in just 76 minutes.
Konta will now face France's Caroline Garcia, with the pair having two wins apiece to their name from four previous contests.
