Victoria Azarenka crushes Romina Oprandi

Second seed Victoria Azarenka has cruised into round three at Wimbledon with a 6-2 6-0 demolition of Romina Oprandi.

Oprandi had won the only previous meeting between the pair 6-1 6-1 on clay in 2007.

However, the Swiss player never threatened to repeat that success on the grass of SW19, as Azarenka converted five of her six break points to progress in just 51 minutes.

Azarenka will next face Jana Cepelova or Anabel Medina Garrigues.
