Stanislas Wawrinka not concerned by talk of 'big four' at Wimbledon

Wawrinka not concerned by 'big four'

Fourth seed Stanislas Wawrinka has insisted that he is not concerned about the talk of a supposed 'big four' group of competitors at Wimbledon.

Wawrinka eased through his opening match at SW19 on Monday, and has suggested that he is not taking too much interest in reports that have talked up the chances of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray at SW19.

"There is only four guys. Why am I one of them? The four are already taken," said Wawrinka, according the tournament's official website.

"I don't have the same result as them. I'm not as strong as them. The big four are not about what happened this year. It's what happened in the past 10 years. That's why they're much better than everybody.

"I personally really don't care. They deserve to be the big four and they always will be. That's how I see it."

Current champion Djokovic got his campaign underway with a first-round win on Monday.
